The distinctive granite shape of Ailsa Craig rises from the sea just off the Ayrshire coast. Seen from the beach just north of Ballantrae on a fine wind-swept day, this painting uses a loose, expressionist style to capture the feel of the crashing waves and the hazy presence of Ailsa with the Mull of Kintyre and Arran in the distance.
Unframed fine art print supplied in an ice white mount. (External size of mount is 50cm x 23cm.)
From an original painting by Glenda Waterworth.
